Sadaqa, Zakat, and Community Assistance
At AI Yaqeen Islamic Center, we are committed to providing assistance to those in need within our community. We understand that times of hardship can be challenging, and we strive to offer support with the utmost respect and confidentiality. If you or someone you know is in need, please fill out the assistance form below, and a dedicated team member will reach out within 24 hours to offer guidance and help.
Zakat, one of the five pillars of Islam, plays a vital role in uplifting and supporting the vulnerable in our society. Your contributions enable us to assist those who are eligible to receive Zakat, in accordance with the categories defined in Islamic teachings:
- The Poor (al-Fuqara’): Those who lack sufficient means to meet basic needs.
- The Needy (al-Masakin): Individuals who have some resources but still require additional help to make ends meet.
- Zakat Administrators (al-A’mileen’): Those responsible for collecting and distributing Zakat.
- Those Whose Hearts May Be Reconciled (al-Muallafti Qulubihum): People who may embrace or need encouragement to remain steadfast in Islam.
- Those in Debt (al-Gharimeen): Individuals overwhelmed by debts incurred for legitimate purposes.
- Those Striving in the Way of Allah (fi sabil lillah): People engaged in efforts that benefit the community or uphold the principles of Islam.
- Wayfarers (ibn as-Sabil): Travelers in need who are far from their homes and resources.
In addition to Zakat, we encourage acts of Sadaqa (charity), which can be given at any time to support community welfare and emergency needs. Every contribution, whether small or large, makes a difference and helps transform lives.
We invite you to partner with us in this noble cause. Together, we can ensure that no one in our community is left unsupported. For more information about Sadaqa, Zakat, or assistance services, please contact us directly or visit our website.
Let’s make a collective effort to bring hope and relief to those who need it most. “The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] that sprouts seven ears; in every ear is a hundred grains.” (Quran 2:261)
